In other words, she voted in favor of minors who... who commit pedophilia being kept interned for a maximum of three years.

And so I ask the women of Brazil: do you think it's fair that a kid, a thug, a criminal of 16, 17 years old, like we saw in São Paulo, who is part of... the collective attack against a woman, be interned for at most three years; or that the toughening of sentence enforcement for heinous crimes like femicide only occur from recidivism, as was defended by the PT and by people here in the plenary—only after you kill the second woman, only after you rape the second woman, that you harden the execution of the sentence?

They are trying, once again, to hide from you the truth about yesterday's vote on lowering the age of criminal responsibility here in Brazil.

Yesterday, the Chamber of Deputies took the first step toward lowering the age of criminal responsibility.
