Your Excellency faced — and, for the first time in the history of the Senate, in the last 132 years, the Federal Senate rejected a nomination for Minister of the STF.

Do you mean that Flávio Bolsonaro and Tarcísio have always been surrounded by terrorists? Folks, many of you saw that Trump classified the PCC and the Comando Vermelho as terrorist organizations. So, if we look at it from that perspective, does that mean Flávio Bolsonaro and Tarcísio have always been surrounded by terrorists? And think with me: Rodrigo Bacelar, who is a former president of the Rio Assembly, was arrested for leaking classified information precisely to the Comando Vermelho. Now, Bacelar is so close to Flávio that he was considered a partner of his candidate for the government of Rio de Janeiro.

Then there's TH Joias, which is from the same group as Flávio, was a Tarcísio candidate, and is imprisoned for negotiating weapons for the Comando Vermelho. We must also not forget Gutenberg Fonseca, appointed by Flávio himself to a secretariat in the Rio de Janeiro government. The Federal Police caught Gutenberg arranging a meeting with the drug trafficking boss. Do you understand? Three of Flávio's allies with connections to the Comando Vermelho.

And, by Flávio's own standard, three terrorists in his circle of relations. Here in São Paulo, Tarcísio is not far behind. The commander-general of the Military Police, whom he handpicked, is under investigation for concealing bribes from the PCC. And worse, even after the investigation came to light, Tarcísio still publicly praised his former commander who is under investigation.

remembering that Tarcísio also cut in half the budget to combat those so-called terrorists — or organized crime — in São Paulo. Tarcísio and Flávio brag about fighting crime, but the facts point in the opposite direction. And I want to emphasize here, no one is accusing Flávio or Tarcísio of participating in crimes. But given the seriousness with which they themselves say they treat the PCC and the Comando Vermelho, it is legitimate to ask how they explain so many cases involving people they appointed, supported, praised, or who are linked to their political circle and that have appeared in investigations precisely related to those factions.
