Surveys today show, when I say surveys I'm not talking about numbers about who will be elected president of the republic.

Congratulations to the President of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), Minister Nunes Marques, for the "accuracy seal" for polling institutes that most accurately predict the election results. Perhaps if it already existed, they would be ashamed to publish today's Quaest poll. It must be a reflection of how the Brazilian people are happy with lula: high food prices, nobody suffers from violence in the country anymore, and no Brazilian is in debt.

Quaest is not a serious institute. Saying that the candidate who has by far grown the most on social media in recent months remained unknown is not a methodological error or anything like that. That has a name, and we already know what it is.

In recent days Kassab has been selling the 'Caiado' narrative to polling institutes and the financial markets. A guy who averages 2,000 likes per post on Instagram and has no organic support. Naturally, a commissioned Quaest poll would pick up this "growth".

So the polls didn't really show what was happening. It was when it started to get close to the election.

The party I founded, the Missão party, has 5.8% preference among Brazilians and when I look at younger people it reaches almost 30%.

And of these eight years as senator, I had the honor and privilege of accompanying President Jair Messias Bolsonaro for four years, participating directly and indirectly in the decisions that were made, that impacted the lives of all of us and who, for me, was the best president in Brazil's history. And now I'm here putting myself on the line.

On the contrary, the population, I have no doubt — if you ask the vast majority — was on our side.
