Erika Hilton: I want to take advantage of this podium to send a solidarity embrace to the family and friends of the young man Fernando, executed in Manaus, and to say that, while we are inside this House, we will continue defending the rights of all the Brazilian people, of the entire LGBTQIA+ community.
Erika Hilton: We will continue denouncing the horrors committed in here against our community and will continue demanding public policies and legislation that remove from marginalization, from oblivion, from murder and execution social groups that are often forgotten and, when remembered, are remembered to be ridiculed by Parliamentarians who reinforce violence on the ground, who every day kill young people in the four corners of this country.
We will continue fighting. We will remain standing, valiant, courageous, battling not only for dignity but also for the life of our community, which cannot be stolen or cut short in the brutal way that young Fernando's was.
Erika Hilton: I register our solidarity with Fernando's family. He will remain in our memory, and we will continue denouncing the abandonments promoted by the State and the violence practiced against our community. Thank you very much.
