Sobre: ampliar direitos e políticas públicas para a comunidade LGBTQIA+

🇧🇷 LET'S FIGHT! I am officially a candidate for re-election as a federal deputy. It's definitive. I will be in the streets, on social media, in the capital, in the interior, on the coast and wherever else I can be campaigning. Not just to get elected, but to carry forward a mission: to refound Brazil. I don't want to be in the streets for a position. I want to be in the streets for the story I want to keep writing. A story of success and progress for all people. For the working class, for women, for Black people, for the LGBTQIA+ community and for all people marginalized by this exploitative and exclusionary system. Being a candidate and getting elected as a deputy is only part of a much larger process. Of a far more ancestral struggle and for a much better future. It's a heavy burden. But this year, I don't carry it alone. The House of Hilton is pleased to also announce the candidacy of @SofiaFavero_ for the office of state deputy. For it is impossible to refound Brazil without also refounding the state of São Paulo. In this state where so much wealth is produced and so much injustice is committed, where even our water was sold and we are held hostage by a privatizing oligarchy and by one of the main representatives of backwardness, the refoundation is also urgent and necessary. For that, we count on your help, your strength and your trust. Are you coming with us?

Sobre: garantir direitos e proteção a pessoas LGBTQIA+

I'd really like to be able to say a big "fuck it" to that and that nobody depends on others' acceptance to be who they are. But a drop in acceptance of homosexuality turns into an increase in LGBTQIA+ young people being kicked out of their homes. It turns into hate speech on social media. It turns into death on the streets. And this decline is not natural. It is built by many hands. It is the result of the work of far-right politicians, fundamentalist pastors and priests, and the insatiable thirst for profit of the big techs. And, yes, this drop in acceptance of homosexuality is also the product of the cowardice of those who, two years ago, wouldn't miss a Pride Day to gain engagement off our community and now fall silent about our existences. Including left-wing politicians. No right is guaranteed. Our mobilization needs to be permanent and the struggle must be daily. Our community cannot think we've already "arrived." We cannot falter. And to the "right-wing gays" who are proposing to exclude bisexual, trans and travesti people and even lesbian women to be accepted, there's still time to wake up. Acceptance is not built by proposing exclusion. You're only postponing the moment when the target of hatred will be stamped on your foreheads.

Sobre: garantir direitos das pessoas LGBTQIA+

Even in a challenging moment, the right to be who one is always overcomes any repression. From that attempt, on June 28, 1969, International LGBT+ Pride Day was born, with respect as a premise and harmonious coexistence as the goal. https://t.co/ZZfN11hXbw

Bittersweet because despite all the hatred and all the violence, we have already advanced and consolidated many things in the pursuit of our dignity and our rights.
