We need, starting from this case and so many others that occur throughout Brazil, to discuss what kind of Brazil we want, what kind of politics we want, what responsibilities institutions have in the face of barbarism, violence, inequality, hatred and intolerance.
Erika Hilton: I could not use this podium today, Mr. President, esteemed Deputies, to speak of anything other than this condemnation, than this crime, which does not end here.
This sentence is a part, it is an answer, but there is still a need to seek further reparation, for justice.
Erika Hilton: There exists a reparation that is impossible to achieve.
Erika Hilton: After life is taken, after a person is lost, there is nothing that can bring the person back, there is nothing that can repair a family's pain.
