Erika Hilton: (Applause.) That is what is humiliating, and not changing one's position.
Erika Hilton: What is humiliating is not defending one's own positions. Long live the Brazilian working class, long live President Lula and our fight for the end of the 6 by !
Thank you, Mr. President. I want to greet the social movements, especially VAT, the trade union forces, the Parliamentarians, President Hugo Motta and President Lula, who worked tirelessly to deliver to the Brazilian people and to the working class the reduction of working hours in this country.
Erika Hilton: Many acted against the people's interests, but the organized struggle, President Lula's commitment and the insistence of the social movements blocked any attempt to obstruct an advance delivered into the hands of the workers.
Erika Hilton: The 6 by 1 schedule is inhuman, it robs hope and dignity and is even more perverse for women, especially mothers, and for the young community, who see themselves completely crushed under a work regime that does not allow them to have a life.
