Kim Kataguiri: So I think this is an important response that this committee gives regarding the Banco Master scandal within our remit.
Kim Kataguiri: The other point, which is a bill I also reported on, concerned electronic frauds.
We are increasing penalties for electronic fraud: where 4 to 8 years of imprisonment are currently provided, we are changing it to 6 to 10 years.
Kim Kataguiri: When we raise the minimum penalty, the minimum is no longer 4; Mr. President, we also remove a series of procedural benefits that can currently be granted under the current penalty and will no longer be available.
Kim Kataguiri: In the case of these electronic frauds, when you, the victim or a third party, are induced to error through social media, telephone contact, the sending of fraudulent email, duplication of an electronic device, use of the internet or any other analogous fraudulent means.
