Kim Kataguiri: And that opened the margin for our elite unit of the military police, Rota, to act, retaking territories and exterminating organized crime leaders.
Kim Kataguiri: And unfortunately that was not carried through to the end because of the governor's fear.
And another point: Governor Tarcísio promised to structure the police, he did not regulate the organic law of the police that we approved here in the National Congress, which modernizes the system and mainly facilitates investigation, and we know that the crime resolution rate is very low in the State of São Paulo and in Brazil in general; he did not give the salary adjustment that the State had promised.
Kim Kataguiri: São Paulo pays the salaries of military police from other states because of our Federative Pact, but our own police have very low pay compared to others, and at the same time the equipment is inadequate.
Kim Kataguiri: We need drones for the forensic police; we need chromatographs, which are the equipment that identify the chemical substances in drugs to submit them to Anvisa's list of controlled substances and avoid drug seizures not being considered trafficking because that substance is not on Anvisa's list.
