Nikolas Ferreira: The National Congress is being disrespected, the National Congress has already lost its legitimacy, and if we don't take a position, we will continue to be subjugated.
I gave my vote to President Hugo Motta, as did the majority of the PL (Liberal Party), but today I have the feeling that if Your Excellency does not take any action in respect to this National Congress, my validation and confidence will crumble, even because the important agendas for the Brazilian people are not being discussed.
Nikolas Ferreira: It's very easy to postpone the discussion and the vote on a matter that deals with people's lives, since they are not our uncles, our cousins, our grandmothers, our children, our parents.
Nikolas Ferreira: And each day this House delays the discussion of the amnesty for those who need it, you are saying that it is deferrable.
