Nikolas Ferreira: What you can't have is the PT coming to say it took Brazil out of poverty and then every four years go visit the poor person it supposedly took out of poverty.
Now, here's an even more frightening figure: almost 82 million Brazilians are in default.
Nikolas Ferreira: In other words, on one side you have 94 million Brazilians who depend on the government, that is, are unable to support themselves, and on the other side you have 82 million people who are in default, which means they can't pay their bills on time.
Nikolas Ferreira: So, the country is dependent and indebted at the same time.
