Romeu Zema: So that's what Brazil needs; my proposals are these: since I come from outside the political world, I can say we need to breathe new life into politics in Brazil.
Romeu Zema: Politicians have had plenty of time to enact change and with everything we're seeing today, it's clear they're more concerned with covering for one another, supporting a colleague's mistakes, than actually doing the right thing.
So what I want is to end these untouchables and I'm sure that's also what Brazilians most want.
Desconhecido: So, if that invitation comes, governor—which from what I understand from your words hasn't happened yet, any formal invitation from Flávio Bolsonaro to be the ticket's vice—would you not accept it?
Romeu Zema: I like Flávio a lot, I admire him, I had a lot of contact with his father while he was president and even afterwards, Vitor; his father was the first to be informed of my pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic and he holds the view that the more candidates on the right, the better.
