Sérgio Moro: Justice André Mendonça of the STF (Supreme Federal Tribunal) ordered the opening of an investigation to determine why the Federal Police investigator who was conducting the investigations into the theft from the NSS's retirees and pensioners was replaced.
Sérgio Moro: That investigator was also investigating the suspected involvement of Lulinha, the president's son, in this criminal scheme.
During the CPMI of the NSS, of which I was a member, concrete suspicions emerged there about the relationship between Lulinha and Careca do INSS.
Sérgio Moro: This was never properly explained.
Sérgio Moro: And the government's base always worked to obstruct the investigative efforts into this matter.
