Tabata Amaral: I look at Brazil today and see a people exhausted from being pitted against one another, tired of a hatred that builds nothing.
Tabata Amaral: And my response to that weariness is not to shout louder, not to insult more, not to attack more, not to invent bigger lies; it is to build, to dialogue, to try to bend the conversation, as we have always learned to do with that opposing argument, to keep fighting for the future, brick by brick, vote by vote, life by life, until everyone, without exception, can reach their full potential and help us build a more ethical, safer, fairer and more prosperous country.
And I conclude, Mr. President, by saying that I have just heard from our President Hugo Motta that we will vote today on the urgency of the bill that criminalizes hatred against women.
