Tabata Amaral: So I take advantage of this speech, in this little minute I have left, to invite Your Excellencies to make this fight with me.
As Rapporteur, Deputy Benê, I am, hour by hour, day by day — I've lost count of the number of meetings — receiving suggestions, listening to those who still have doubts, listening to those who still have reservations, refining the text, making adjustments, and I will do so as long as necessary.
Tabata Amaral: But I ask Your Excellencies that, today, we can show the women of this Brazil that, even if we disagree on many things, we are not blind nor insensitive.
Tabata Amaral: And we will give an answer to all the more than three hundred women who lost their lives at the hands of a femicide just this year of 2026.
