Sobre: consolidar e financiar políticas públicas de proteção animal
Those who love animals know: caring for them is also caring for society. Today we took another important step to strengthen this cause in Rio Grande do Sul. Alongside @GabrielSouza_RS, who is a veterinarian, we announced R$ 8 million so that 181 municipalities can expand programs for spaying and neutering, identification and registration of dogs and cats, promoting greater health, well-being and responsibility in the care of our animals. We also launched the Animal-Friendly Online Police Station @policiacivilrs, a tool that makes it easier to report abuse and reinforces the fight against violence toward dogs and cats. Protecting those who have no voice is a duty for all of us. We are consolidating a permanent public policy for animal protection, based on partnership with municipalities, on prevention and on holding those who commit abuse accountable. Investing in animal welfare is strengthening a more responsible, more conscious society committed to respect for life.
