From what I learned from the people here, there really are no archaeological remains, they did nothing, no memorial.

The Indians invaded the businessman's land, the businessman who already tore down the local big house, who doesn't care about local preservation, who doesn't care about historical preservation — in other words, on one side you have a rotten businessman, on the other you have rotten Indians, and in the end our history doesn't exist.

A serious president of the republic should expropriate all that land and make it part of the national memorial of the discovery of Brazil.

They took possession of an area that has... a church that's at least four centuries old.

We'll build a memorial here in the area.

We really have to change this, it's really sad the way our history has been handled and treated by our leaders.
