   🚨 TRAITORS OF THE HOMELAND After intense lobbying by the Bolsonaro family against our own country, the government of Donald Trump confirmed a new 25% tariff hike on Brazilian products exported to the U.S. All of this to satisfy the hatred of Flávio Bolsonaro and his brothers toward the country that did not accept the coup, tried, convicted and IMPRISONED Jair Bolsonaro. According to Eduardo Bolsonaro, their freedom is worth more than Brazil's economy. The Bolsonaro family's freedom is worth more than the jobs and livelihoods of Brazilian families. But the reason for the tariff hike is not only that. Donald Trump is imposing tariffs on Brazil because he cannot accept that Pix, a Brazilian technology, goes head-to-head with U.S. companies Visa and Mastercard. Donald Trump cannot accept our justice standing up to people like Elon Musk and Zuckerberg and protecting girls, women and vulnerable groups from the hatred driven and monetized by the big techs. Fortunately, thanks to negotiation and the unparalleled work of the Lula government and our diplomatic corps, only about 20% of Brazilian exports to the U.S. will be hit by the new tariff. The vast majority of products will not be tariffed. Even so, a Brazilian response is necessary. Brazil is studying using the Reciprocity Law and making the Trump government pay for the tariffs it itself imposed on our country. It is worth remembering that, under our Reciprocity Law, which I was proud to vote for in the Chamber of Deputies, now that Trump has imposed tariffs on Brazil, our country can even break patents on U.S. medicines and make them cheaper in Brazil.
