   Beloved Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before Your presence with gratitude and trust. You are the God who sees what no one sees, who knows what is hidden in the heart and who remains faithful at all times. Today we place before You the life and health of Jair Messias Bolsonaro. Stretch out Your mighty hand over him, strengthen his body, renew his spirit and give him wisdom for every decision. May he remain steadfast, kept by Your grace and guided by Your Spirit. Also bless his whole family. May Your peace fill their home, may Your love strengthen every heart and may Your protection be upon each new day. Father, we also present to You all those arrested and persecuted on January 8 and 9. You are a God of truth and justice. Console those who suffer, strengthen those who wait, and let that which is just prevail in Your sight. May no one lose faith, even amid trials. We pray for every person who is united with us in this moment. Renew the strength of the weary, heal the sick, restore the downcast and rekindle the hope of those who are thinking of giving up. May our confidence remain anchored in Your Word, for we know that the Lord continues to work, even when we cannot yet see. We declare that fear will not have the last word, that discouragement will not overcome our faith and that no storm will be greater than the God whom we serve. We will walk with our heads held high, for Christ is our hope, our strength and our victory. "For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you; he will not leave you nor forsake you."
