Desconhecido: COP30, held in Belém, helped bring international debates closer to the needs of vulnerable populations, especially those living in disadvantaged communities, peripheries and traditional communities, who are often more exposed to environmental degradation, lack of sanitation and the disproportionate effects of climate change.
Desconhecido: At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have also sought to consistently incorporate the dimension of diversity and inclusion into our institutional practices.
I especially highlight the Affirmative Action Program for Black People, created in 2002, which this year will offer 38 scholarships.
Desconhecido: In 2026, we also began granting scholarships to indigenous candidates and we expect to launch, later this year, similar initiatives aimed at people with disabilities.
Desconhecido: Very soon, we will have the results of the first admissions examination for the diplomatic career with reserved vacancies for indigenous people and quilombolas.
