Sérgio Moro: An individual broke into the convent of the Congregation of the Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Mary, in the small town of Ivaí, in the interior of Paraná.
Sérgio Moro: This individual, whose name I will refrain from saying, ended up murdering, in a cruel manner, an 82-year-old nun, Sister Nadia Gavanski.
I want to record here my expression of condolence — I will submit a motion to that effect — because she was a person who dedicated her life to God and to others and, unfortunately, was the victim of this cruel murder.
Sérgio Moro: These are the kinds of crimes in which we often even question the sanity of humanity itself.
Sérgio Moro: But we know that this individual who was arrested — and I hope he is punished severely for his crimes — does not represent the image we have of our country and of humanity in general.
