What Tabata Amaral said about amend laws to provide investigation and specialized care for victims of misogynistic acts and prevention measures

Tabata Amaral: This law shall enter into force on the date of its application.

Tabata Amaral: This is the first version of the substitute proposed by this committee and I will now proceed to read the draft bill that will be coauthored by members of this committee, also in its first version.

Amends Law No. 10,446 of May 8, 2002, Law No. 11,340 of August 7, 2006 (Lei Maria da Penha), and Law No. 14,541 of April 3, 2023, to provide for the investigation and assistance to victims of acts of misogyny and to establish measures for the prevention of domestic and family violence against women.
