What Tabata Amaral said about apply double penalty when a crime against a woman occurs in the context of domestic and family violence

Tabata Amaral: Paragraph 3 of Article 141 of Decree-Law No. 2,848 of December 7, 1940, Penal Code, shall read as follows.

Tabata Amaral: Article 141, paragraph 3.

If the crime is committed against a woman in the context of domestic and family violence, the penalty shall be doubled.

Tabata Amaral: Article 5.

Tabata Amaral: This law shall enter into force on the date of its application.
